Spillover the Myth Exposed

here is yet another post from Russ Howe, a leader in the industry on MLM's and the hype of spillover.

__________________

Spillover: The Myth Exposed

Ah spillover. My least favourite word in all of online marketing. This does more harm than good.

I'm going to say something which you probably have never been told by any sponsor you have ever worked with anywhere else in the world:

Spillover is over-rated and not as good as it is made out to be.

I'm sorry, but it is true and I will prove it to you. This ties in perfectly with patience, PMA and hype. Alongside those, Spillover is the main reason why people fail in MLM. Spillover sounds great in theory; free signups from your upline,

But like with all things in MLM, people automatically then go back into that ancient 'get rich quick' mentality and assume 'Great! Join under somebody good and I don't have to do any work!

This is not true.
As an experienced internet marketer I can tell you I have honestly never seen anybody fill a matrix through spillover. EVER.

Usually all spillover does is make people impatient and want to cancel after a week if they have received no spillover from those above. It's quite rude to contact somebody and demand they give you signups, but this happens frequently. They think they could get more spillover elsewhere and threaten to cancel unless you give them signups instantly and my reply is always the same: Go.

I don't know what makes these guys think you or any other successful sponsor would ever want somebody like that underneath them enough to put up with that kind of demand, so when they go to somebody else the same thing happens. They will continue to struggle until they get past the myth of spillover and start learning how to market for themselves.

Why is spillover over-rated? Allow me to show you....
Let's say you are directly underneath me here in TWR Power System. You and some guy are on my level one and I must fill both your matrices for you. That means I need to bring in over 1000 people on my own. Which is going to be VERY difficult.

Remember, that's only if you are on my level 1.

Given that myself and any other good marketer will not be working alone and will have a team of people directly underneath them then nobody is going to be able to get a spot directly on my level 1, Kevin Fox's level 1, James Al-Oboudi's level 1, or anyone else. Which means I'd need to bring in even more people to fill your matrix for you.

I have never seen anybody fill a matrix through spillover. Ever.

All spillover does is make people think 'free money' and it actually helps them to fall into the traps of the mass promoters who rule the GDI leaderboards saying things like 'Join me and I will build your downline for you on auto-pilot'. We've all seen those guys, right? LOL.

Here's a fact: Spillover is delivered fairly and is evenly spread. Once you have got a signup through spillover you will not receive another one until everybody else on the same level as you also receives one.

Many people view forced matrix programs as simply a race to get in at the top. The higher you get the better the spillover, right? Wrong, be careful.

What most companies will not tell you is that they have already filled the top levels of their program way before the pre-launch even started, with multiple accounts for the owner and his team, or perhaps top marketers who they wanted to be able to use the name of in their promotions, and dead spare accounts so they can all double their incomes. When you join up you have a slight chance of getting onto level 5-10, not level 1. So already spillover is going to be a disappointment to you but you haven't even been made aware of it. I know this happens because I've been invited to be put into countless companies before the pre-launch stage and have declined every single one because if a company can be this misleading to it's members before it's even started, what hope does it have? What most of these spillover-loving guys and girls don't realize is that they won't be getting the instant spillover they were 'guaranteed' - they ARE the spillover, to the guys at the top.

When people join a program and don't get massive spillover, they simply head off to the next one (there's always another one LOL) and do the exact same thing. And on and on for years. The buzz of thinking 'this one is the best thing ever' gets addictive to some people and they can never stop jumping ship. This is the hardest habit to get out of.

NEVER join any program under anybody who is using spillover as the main reason to join under them - because that is usually the key giveaway sign that they are poor sponsors. A good sponsor would tell you to join them because they are going to help you, not promise silly results which mathematically cannot be delivered. If you are one of those that market this way you are also putting yourself in a very dangerous position - after all, if you're telling people they should join under you because you are under ME or KEVIN FOX or whoever else and they'll get 'crazy spillover' then why wouldn't this guy just skip you and come directly to us where they could perhaps get a higher spot than they could under you? Sounds like most of the help they'll be getting wouldn't be coming from you anyway, so there's nothing stopping them.. You'll also only attract feeloaders by promising insant spillover.. They will give you their free trial period, or in a few rare cases you'll be lucky enough to get 1 month at the MOST, and when they haven't received the crazy spllover you promised you are at square 1 again and it's your own fault. What did you expect? You lied to them, after all..

You need to brand yourself, give people reasons they should join YOU, not your team or upline or even your business. People tend to forget this and although it's flattering to see myself in people's videos and stuff I can't help but shake my head at the fact they've often left themselves OUT of the video.

I credit all my success to not believing hype, not trusting anybody until they have proved themselves to me, having faith and patience in myself and viewing this as a long-term opportunity not a quick venture to get spillover.

You have now found a genuine company with a genuine team of people who are here to stay. Treat it like a genuine job.

Like I said earlier, work at this whenever you can and once you are earning more from this than your present job I'd suggest concentrating on your online opp on a permanent basis.

Hype in MLM How to fail!!

Here is another post from Russ Howe, a leader in the MLM industry on the Hype in MLM's. Thanks to Russ for this information

________________________

Hype is Everywhere!

If you don't know me personally, then you are about to find out that the one thing I hate more than internet guru's is hype. Do not buy into it. It takes a lot to get me interested in a company.

Hype is everywhere in MLM. The saying 'The grass is always greener on the other side' has never been truer than in this industry. There are constantly new companies starting up promising completely insane results, crazy spillover, instant downlines, money for doing nothing.... It is tempting to anyone. I know. I did it.

Because this is the internet, people are always looking for a free ride and this has started a trend of pre-launch frenzies. Rather than find a good company and work with them, people join up to one company in pre-launch and if they don't get 'crazy spillover' they quit after the first month and join the next company in pre-launch full of hope and hype again, thinking this is the next big one. This can get addictive. Again, I have never known anybody who has made any money doing this.

I want to speak to you from a personal point of view here and talk in facts; out of every company I have ever worked with, the one you are currently involved with is the best I have ever seen. Even as I write this I am approached daily by new companies wanting to place me near the top of their matrix with an 'instant downline' yet I decline because they cannot match what TWR Power System does.

Once you get past the hype and look at the details, the TWR Power System payout plan is never beaten. That's because James Al-Oboudi designed it to be mathematically unbeatable. Nobody can get into profit faster than with 2 referrals anywhere else in the world. Nowhere can earn you $2300 a month from just 510 referrals.

Sticking with this one company will be paramount to your success. I am here to stay.

The thing about James Al-Oboudi is he stays one step ahead. When other systems who used larger matrices were starting to catch up to the main Teamwork Revolution system's payout he re-vamped the payout and killed off the competition for good. I cannot imagine GDI changing their payout at all, so to see that was very refreshing. It's the same with TWR Power System: Nobody comes close, but if anyone does James will make sure his company stays out in front.

You will undoubtedly be offered the chance to join other companies who offer 'superior systems' like I do every day, but if you want to achieve long-term success you must simply look past their hype and stare the facts straight in the face. Usually these companies promise huge spillover, which leads onto the next section perfectly....

Patience in MLM

Here is a copy of a post in our forums written by Russ Howe on the need for patience in the MLM industry. Thnaks to Russ for this information

------------------
97% of people in MLM fail.
Why?

A lot of the time this comes down to the fact they are simply using a program which is not very good, or one which offers little or no support to its members. This is not the fault of the affiliate, they just haven't found the right program yet.

However, there are a lot of things which affiliate marketers do which can directly cause them to fail – some of which are actually done without even realising it. I've seen plenty of people in good systems who fail to make it. These pitfalls are usually bad habits which we have picked up along our journey, stuff which has never worked for us but we continue making those same old mistakes. This comes down to mental training.

Here are three of the main things to watch out for...

Positive Mental Attitude & Patience

A positive mental attitude & patience. It sounds simple enough, but honestly the MLM industry is FULL of people who lack these and it is wide open to anyone that does posses them, trust me I know!

Some people come into an online business with a defeatist attitude already in place. They are expecting it to be a scam because most online opportunities are, let's face it! However once it is proven to them that it is not a scam and it is is a genuine company who pay out real money, for many there seems to be a stigma attached to 'online opportunities' which makes them think that because it is online they will be able to earn money for doing nothing. I have never known anybody to make money this way, in fact a large portion of the 97% 'failure' rate is down to people doing this very thing. In my opinion, people don't 'fail', people quit.

I highly recommend you treat this as a second job. Work at it whenever you can. Once you are earning enough from this to out-perform your main job, switch your focus entirely and make this your main job.

In any MLM, it is expected to take up to three months to break into profits and begin building your income. This is a transitional period in which you learn the ropes and figure out the type of leader you are going to be. So many people simply give themselves their 'free trial period' to get into profits and if they haven't made it they just quit and say they were scammed. People do not fail in MLM, they usually just quit.

When people join a new program they are brimming with hype, expectation and positivity but the MLM industry is the absolute worst I have ever seen for watching how quickly people lose faith in themselves. Everybody goes through a rough patch. No business starts with a bang then just keeps getting better. However in this industry it seems as if somebody who doesn't get a signup for longer than a week starts wanting to quit or blames their upline for not providing spillover. It's absurd to think people want 100% results, 100% of the time (usually for 10% effort). From my experience, the people who do this are normally the kind that want to get instant results for as little effort as they can, so I want to make sure none of you fall into this trap because it NEVER works out for them. Usually, a month is enough time to get past all the hype and excitement of a new company and see how somebody genuinely feels about it.

Patience is a very, very important factor in MLM. In fact it's possibly the most important thing. Rather than stressing every time you don't get a signup in a few days you need to keep faith in yourself. If you believe in the company you will succeed. If you don't believe In a company it will show in your advertising and videos in particular and you'll be crippling your own chances. Nothing is achieved overnight. For instance if you go back a few pages you'll see me telling you it took me three months to get my first GDI signup. During that time I saw so many people join up under heavy hitters, struggle for a week then quit whereas I took the time to learn exactly what I was doing and that's how I achieved more long-term success. You will get there, but this will be a mental test like nothing you've tried before.

Here is the latest from the owner about upgrading!

Latest info in regards to upgrading.

___________________Donald

Hello ladies and gentlemen. If you are contacting your downline members in an attempt to get them to upgrade (which you absolutely should be doing), there are four things you should focus on.

1. The new site design.

Ask you downline members to review our new home site and show them that TWRPS is a company that will always be improving, growing bigger, stronger, and more advanced as time goes on. Point out that this new improvement has been done without TWRPS even receiving one cent yes (as I must wait until December to be paid just like everyone else), so just imagine all we will do once we have much more funds to use to develop TWRPS.

2. My full Marketing Plan.

Be sure to inform your downline that as a paid member they will receive my full marketing plan in which I used to become one of the most productive affiliate marketers in the world in less than three months with no prior knowledge or training, and without spending any money at all on advertising. With my marketing plan, they will learn how I went from having absolutely no knowledge of what to do as a marketer, to recruiting as many as 55 people a week in less than three months without ever spending a cent to do it.

3. Plans for future.

Please inform your downline of the following.

A. When TWRPS is actually earning money (again, I must wait until December to be paid just like everyone else), we will transfer the site to it's own dedicated server. In fact, we plan to have different aspects of the site on different servers to ensure that at no point will any TWRPS server become overloaded. This will eliminate the periodic internal server errors that our members have had to endure during prelaunch. Inform them that we had no idea TWRPS would grow so large so quickly (over 32,000 members during prelaunch), but because to this point all memberships have been free, the funds have not been available to solve the problem. However, this will be resolved VERY soon, as the funds will soon be made available.

B. Numerous new marketing tools will become available in addition to our Quick Start Pack and TWRPS Marketing Plan. We will also have many more video tutorials available to help further educate our members.

C. TWRPS plans to have numerous sites in different languages in an effort to be a truly global company and open the doors to our non-English speaking friends. This will of course help all members to tremendously broaden their platform on which to recruit new members.

D. Highly stress the fact that your downline members are the founding members in the most mathematically advanced home based business in history. They have joined us in our infancy, and while we may have experienced some "growing pains," TWRPS is a company that is destined for success due to the mathematically superiority of its design, as well as because of the mentality of its owner. To help your downline members further understand why joining TWRPS means they are joining a winning team that never fails, please refer them to the following post:

viewtopic.php?f=13&t=33#p88

4. Fouding members

Inform your downline that they are joining the most mathematically advanced home-based business in history as a founding member, which almost guarantees long term success, and that by upgrading now they can ensure they will retain their position as a founding member in a company that is destined for success due to its mathematically superiority and mentality of responding to every obstacle and challenge by becoming bigger, stronger, and more advanced.

If you would like to contact your entire downline quickly, you can easily do so by following these simple instructions.

Remember, communication is the key to success in this industry, and silence is deadly, so contact your downline immediately and repeatedly with all the information I've given above. If they are having trouble upgrading, please refer them to the following post:

Latest info from the owner!

Here is the latest from the owner!

Hello ladies and gentlemen. This is James Al-Oboudi, owner of Teamwork Revolution Power System. As you know, we launch on Nov. 7th. The prelaunch has been one exciting ride, and it certainly was MUCH bigger than I had expected. To my surprise, however, in the past week I've spoken with several heavy hitter marketers in TWRPS who have informed me that they haven't yet done any marketing at all, as they want to see how the launch and first payout go first. I was amazed to hear that we have still brought in over 32,000 members without many of our most successful online marketers doing anything at all.

I just had a conversation with one member in particular who told me he has held off on contacting his list of over 100,000 followers to first see if I'm actually going to payout 96.8% as I've promised. Apparently, most successful marketers in this industry are in shock that anyone would pay out so much, and they want to see if I'm actually legitimate before they bring in all of their contacts. In fact, I've even been informed that many of the biggest names in the MLM industry are currently just sitting on the sidelines, watching and waiting to see what happens after our launch before joining TWRPS. I have to admit that I don't blame these marketers at all, as in all honesty, I would do the exact same thing they are doing. With over 32,000 members brought in during prelaunch without most of our biggest marketers doing anything at all, and with many of the industry's biggest names waiting to see what happens with TWRPS in the next month before deciding to join, I CAN'T WAIT to see what is going to happen once all of these heavy hitter marketers see that every word I state is 100% true and start bringing in all of their contacts.

If you haven't already funded your AlertPay account, please do so as soon as possible, as you certainly don't want to miss out on all that is to come after we launch. Remember, the TWRPS membership fee is $29.95, plus a $2.55 AlertPay transaction fee ($32.55 total). If you need any assistance at all with how to fund your AlertPay account, please contact AlertPay's customer service for help. They will be more than happy to assist you. You can reach them at this link:

https://helpdesk.alertpay.com/index.php ... &_a=submit

If you live in a country that makes it slightly more difficult for you to fund your AlertPay account, in addition to contacting AlertPay's customer service, please also refer to the following thread in our support forum. Hopefully it will supply you with useful information.

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1065&start=0

On Nov. 7th, all TWRPS accounts will go inactive and you will therefore need to upgrade your account to access your backoffice and remain as a full member of TWRPS. To upgrade your account, you will simply need to click on the "upgrade your account" link that will be posted on the home page. From that point on, you will then need to enter the username of the account you'd like to upgrade, click on the AlertPay payment button, and follow the very simple payment process. I will place full step by step instructions for how to upgrade your account in the "News" section of our support forum on Nov. 7th, so please feel free to review it if you have any questions at all.

Well folks, I'm really not the type to allow myself to become too excited about anything, as I like to keep my feet on the ground and always remain more consumed with working on the next step rather than enjoying the moment and the fruits of my labor, but after having some of the conversations I've had with our heavy hitter marketers in the past week, I must admit that I have a smile of excitement on my face while writing this and am eagerly anticipating the great prosperity soon to come. I hope as many of you as possible are able to share in it.

Thanks everyone,

James
