Free trial, Grace period clarification

Here is a message posted in the forums, explaining the difference between Free Trial , and Grace period.


Hello Everyone,

To ensure there is no confusion when we launch, and to answer the question I am being asked on many occasions, I would like to clarify the differences between the "grace period" and the "free trial."

GRACE PERIOD

When we use the term "grace period" in relation to making your membership payment, this pertains to any member who:

A) Locked in their position BEFORE November 7th. They will have 14 days to pay for their membership before they are purged (removed) from the database.

OR

B) Becomes a paid member after launch, in which case they will be given 14 days after their account expires to renew their membership before being purged.

FREE TRIAL:

The 14 day Free Trial memberships will NOT be in effect until December 1st. This is necessary for many reasons, some of which are too complex to explain in a forum post. Anyone signing up between November 7th and November 30th will need to pay for their membership in order to gain access to their backoffice after we launch.

Anyone signing up ON or AFTER December 1st will be given the 14 day Free Trial Period.
